Job Description:
Assisting with rehab of patients according to the care plan directed by physician Observe and record patient behavior Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests Collect patient health history Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans Distribute medication via IV or oral administration under the supervision of RN Provide other treatments under the doctor's orders Clean and change wound dressings Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients Direct and supervise nurse assistants and nurse aides Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension Good collaboration and teamwork skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail skills Clear understanding of patient care policies and regulations Strong understanding of symptoms and signs for a number of medical conditions Comfortable working with specific populations of patients, including elderly patients and those with medical challenges Must have physical strength and stamina What we're looking for:
