; will work weekend shifts and callRequired Skills and Qualifications Graduate of an Accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) Program Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers Current ACLS certification One year or more years of Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) experience Experience/knowledge scrubbing, circulating and monitoring Must demonstrate a professional attitude, good interpersonal skills and skill to work in team environment; must have some leadership skills Preferred Skills and Qualifications RCIS Bilingual (English/Spanish or Arabic)Summary The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) II will perform duties during patient care emergencies.
Will work in teams and perform in fast-paced and dynamic patient care situations.
Candidate is responsible for monitoring complex cases using Maclab, charging appropriately, saving and measuring images during interventions, etc.
Responsible for assisting with Angiojet, Impella, IABP, ICE and rotoblade as well as ASD closures and valve interventions; circulating, scrubbing and monitoring.
Responsible for STEMI call and STEMI intervention often following ACLS protocols.
Sharp Grossmont Cath Lab is a dynamic and team oriented department.
We currently have three Cath Labs that support peripheral vascular cases performed in the main OR.
Our staff includes RN's, RT's and CVT's.
We have a strong team to support twenty plus physicians, including eight interventional cardiologists.
Scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional procedures, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology procedures.
